Here are a list of the Spanish-speaking nations that have won a medal so far at the 2012 Olympic Games:

1 agosto - Venezuela's Rubén Limardo won a gold medal for Fencing in the individual epee; Cuba's Asley González won a silver medal for Judo in the men's 90kg weight class, and Iván Cambar won a bronze medal for Weightlifting in men's 77kg weight class;  Spain's Mireia Belmonte García won a silver medal for Swimming in the women's 200 meter butterfly; Colombia's Yuri Alvear won a bronze medal for Judo in the women's 70kg weight class.

2 agosto - Mexico's Aída Román won a silver medal and Mariana Avitia won a bronze medal for Archery in the women's individual; Spain's Maialen Chourraut won a bronze medal for Canoeing in the women's slalom K-1.
