Philly.com has an interesting article about a missing woman, Francesca Alvaro, 22, who disappeared in Atlantic City back in March and still has not been found.

Alvaro, has left her family, including her brother, six sisters, and a 3-year old daughter, remain worried, especially since there has been no new credit card or Facebook activity since her disappearance.

Police are working with the FBI and are following up on leads, but it makes one wonder:  how many young Latino women go missing in the Philadelphia area?  how many do the police thoroughly investigate?  and does their immigration status affect the investigation?
