English Edition: 2012 Olympics

Here are a list of the most recent medalists from Spanish-speaking countries/territories at the 2012 Olympic Games in London:

3 agosto - Cuba's Leuris Pupo won a gold medal for Shooting in the men's 25m rapid-fire pistol, and Idalis Ortiz for Judo in the women's +78kg weight class; Spain's Mireia Belmonte García won her second silver medal for Swimming in the women's 800m freestyle.

4 agosto - Guatemala's Erick Barrondo won a silver medal for Athletics in the men's20km race walk.

5 agosto - Argentina's Juan Martín del Potro won a bronze medal for Tennis in the men's singles; Colombia's Caterine Ibargüen won a silver medal for Athletics in the women's triple jump; and Mexico's Laura Sánchez won a bronze medal for Diving in the women's 3m springboard.

6 agosto - Cuba's Mijaín López won a gold medal for Wrestling in the men's 120kg Greco-Roman, and Yarisley Silva won a silver medal for Athletics in the women's pole vault; Dominican Republic's Félix Sánchez won a gold medal for Athletics in the men's 400m hurdles race, and Luguelín Santos won a silver medal for the men's 400m race; and Puerto Rico's Javier Culson won a bronze medal for Track & Field in the 400m hurdles race.

7 agosto - Spain's Marina Alabau won a gold medal for Sailing in the women's sailboard, Ona Carbonell and Andrea Fuentes won silver medals for Synchronized Swimming in the women's duet, and Javier Gómez Noya won a silver medal for the Men's Triathlon.

8 agosto - Spain's David Cal won a silver medal for Canoeing in the men's C-1 1000 meters.
