English Edition: Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers partners with La Comunidad Hispana

Cheri Rinehart, president and Chief Executive Officer, of Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC) gave a presentation to the members of La Comunidad Hispana staff this month on the assistance her organization can provide to LCH clients.

“This is a wonderful resource for LCH,” said Margarita Queralt Mirkil, President and Chief Executive Officer of LCH. “PACHC is there to help us. They will offer valuable services.” LCH is a member of  PACHC.

PACHC is the state’s primary care association and represents and supports the largest network of primary health care providers in the Commonwealth.  The network of health centers includes community health centers, rural health clinics and other like-mission providers serving more than 600,000 people at more than 200 sites in underserved areas throughout the Commonwealth.

Established in 1981 as a private non-profit organization, PACHC was formed by and for community health center programs. PACHC programs and services are designed to strengthen, promote and grow health centers in today's complex and constantly changing health care environment as well as support Community Health Centers in their mission to provide quality primary care to all, regardless of ability to pay.

La Comunidad Hispana was established in 1973 as a community-based nonprofit organization to empower immigrants and low-income residents in Chester County to stay healthy, build strong families and lead productive, fulfilling lives. LCH is a culturally competent, bilingual, bicultural agency that reflects the community it serves.
